This painting is inspired by ‘The Great Conjunction’ a conjunction of the two planets Jupiter and Saturn, when the two planets appear closest together in the sky. Great conjunctions occur approximately every 20 years when Jupiter ‘overtakes’ Saturn in its orbit. This conjunction took place last December 2020 when I started this journey in oils of two powerful Stallions in playful mood and is inspired by this timely event.
